News from Ground Zero
“For the last time,” the woman in the projected illusion explains. She looks tired. The exhaustion is visible in her eyes even thro there is some white crust forming on the corner of it. The same white crust is evident on the corners of her mouth.
“There are no halflings in Regalport. I do not know where any halflings would be. I have enough problems with riots and dead in the street so if you have nothing for us, then just let us get back to our work.”
With that image suddenly vanishes leaving both Devlin and Angela in the silence of the communications room. It was the fourth outpost they have tried to call - the only one which responded.
It was Angela who spoke first. “I guess that confirms it. The Boromar is not in the city. You better just go Devlin. There’s no reason for me to allow you to go down there.”

its been hours since they have arrived at the resolute. while the captain is negotiating with the lieutenant commander about allowing their crew access to the regalport, the anticipation of a decision alone is trying on rothaide's patience.
she places herself into the void yet again. she wears her cowl over her head as to hide her face and her eyes which turn luminous during a trance such as this. void sense. her disembodied being swims thru the ocean of faces for any sign of mica.
"hope has fled this place. there is nothing left but fear and grief. the halfling princess ::pause:: she is definitely on the island. she is outside of the city"
rothaide brings back the cowl and reveals her familiar elven features.
"you saw her?" the others asked,
looking back with contempt at having been spoken to in common. "not exactly. the void does not work that way." she responds in elven.

question. void sense is suppose to work like clairvoyance/clairaudience .. eh .. is it possible that rothaide did see the princess? what about a general direction?
Rules for usage of the Void is pretty vague but i'd agree with the clairviyance/clairaudience thing.
Let's just say Rothaide knows the general direction but need to guide the others personally coz it was from her POV that she traced the location of Mika.
