Other Things To Worry About
Angela raised an eyebrow at the mention of the name.
“Boromar?! What have you gotten yourself into this time Devlin? It things like this…” Angela abruptly caught herself and inhaled deeply to calm herself.
She then once more coolly looks back at the ship captain before speaking. “We received a request from a Popora Boromar, demanding we return over this Mika immediately. We checked with the authorities in Regalport, but there has been no contact with Mika since the plague broke out. We have posted a request with the local government, but they have other things to do than worry about a halfling merchant. Most likely she’s found someplace to lie low until this blows over.”
She then turns to look out the observation glass. “Another possibility, I have to admit though, is that Mika has fallen victim to the plague and is beyond he help of her family.”
The half-elf then pulls out a sheet of paper from the table and shows it to Devlin. “Here are the current reports. The population of Greentarn has been decimated. One out of ten people on the island are dead from the disease.”
“The fleet is up to its neck trying to enforce this quarantine. Just between you and me, without any help, I fear, this plague might spill over to the other islands. If that happens…” she trails off and couldn’t suppress a shudder even the warm sunlight bathing the room cannot prevent.

ooc: rothaide would like to use sense void to locate mika .. if that is possible .. i think it is possible however there is the question of distance ..
