Waiting Room
Orell and the two guards escort the Devlin together with Rourke and Rothaide through a few passages and into the Resolute’s observation dome giving them a view of the Ravenstorm and the island below. From this vantage point it they could see that no one has come aboard their ship. Gian was on deck keeping watch. There was no sign of Coreen which would probably say that she was probably on board guarding the cargo.
The Lyrandar officer leaves the group alone in the room as he excuses himself to go and get the Lieutenant Commander. He then instructs the two guards to stay outside the door.
The Ravenstorm crew kills time by looking out the observation windows and checking the various tables in the room most of which shows the extent of the Regalport blockade, including schedules of the Lyrandar fleet patrols.
... ~~~ ...
the initial excitement of the sights from the waiting room soon waned. the crew now went to their respective cliques, with the exception of rothaide who chose to distance herself from everyone. she watched the outside. deep in her thoughts.
"we should inform them about the pirates .." she turns to the others.
it was a welcome break from the quiet murmurs. everyone looked at her expectantly to say more. it was not clear if she was telling or asking. she then goes back to her reclusive self turning her back and watched the ravenstorm beyond.
"perhaps there is no need" the damaged done to the ravenstorm is apparent. and they would be asking about those sooner or later, she thought.
