Skiff Combat: Round Four: Pirates

"Finally!” Dargo growled as he pulled off the last of the tanglefoot mixture off of him. Yeth was likewise wiping the stuff from her longsword. At first glance there were no visible crew members on the deck. The two humans have fled towards the bridge - on one of their soarsleds no less. The Bomu will not be happy about that.
Dargo was about to run towards the bridge when Yeth pulled his arm.
“What?!” Dargo barked but quickly grew silent when he looked to the direction that Yeth pointed at.
From the far side of the deck, they could barely see the human female cutting the last of the ropes holding the ship. They started to make a move towards her when the rope finally snapped causing the ship to continue on its course forward.
As if reading each other’s mind, both gnolls nodded at each other and quickly jumped over the railings of the deck, pushing on an amulet on their armor as they free fell down towards the city.

Zzatht had his orders. They were to get your hands on the boxes of spice and get out. Simple merchants they said. No one said anything about magic wielding elves. Better make do of the situation and get of out of here.
The skiff was on its way so Zzatht piled up as much spice as he could carry. With a stack of boxes of spice in his arms, the gnoll moved towards the crack in the ship’s hull when something suddenly stops him. A web of sorts suddenly catches his left arm and legs effectively pinning him to the wall near the hole. Thinking it was the elf witch again Zzatht dropped the boxes and quickly pulled out his sword. He looked back into the mist, squinting to see any sign of the elf. He however failed to notice the black widow spider lurking above him until it fell unto him and bit him on his back.
The bite in itself was bad. Blood now flowed freely from the wound. More so, the pirate felt the venom now entering into his system, robbing himself of his strength. He, however, managed to flip his sword and stab the spider. This caused the spider to fall off his back and unto the floor. He once more flipped his sword for a follow up stab when he noticed another one crawling out of the mists and towards him.
